TODD BOB PHOTOGRAPHY
TODD BOB
I am Todd Bob, a Toronto based photographer who specializes in capturing spaces and places.
My first camera was a Pentax K1000 with a 55mm prime lens. I was hooked. Ever since, I have been a die-hard Pentax user, and have stood by their hardware.
I studied architecture before moving into photography, hence my interest in spaces and places. My architectural background has shaped my photographic methods, which focus on timing and lighting.
After architecture school and before photography full-time, I also worked in banking. My thinking was that it would be a good stable job that could help pay for my photography as a hobby. The tough hours at my day job coupled with my love of taking photographs wound up one night accidentally feeding light-sensitive photo paper into the laser copier. Thus, I quit my job and turned to photography full time. As the great Ron Swanson once said, "Never half-ass two things. Only whole-ass".
